Mike,
Just brought my equipment in from last night's gig and plugged in my Session 400. It made a popping noise and went dead. It seems to be getting no power to it at all. I've tried several wall sockets to no avail. I thought maybe it blew a fuse but I can't find a fuse in it. (Obviously, I don't know about the inner workings of these things, which makes me feel kinda dumb.) I'm just praying it's something simple. Please help.

John, Looking at the amp from the back, the fuse holder is in the upper left-hand corner, just to the left of the on/off switch. Just push in and turn about a quarter turn to the left and it'll come right out. It uses a 6 amp fuse. Hope this helps. |

Depends on what amp we're looking at----Session 400 LTD does not have this fuse--I assume, Bob, that you are talking about the older 400. |

I should have given all of the info. It is a Session 400 LTD with a Black Widow. Like I said, I plugged it in, turned it on and it made a loud pop and then went dead. Of course it made me proceed to say some bad words and call it unsavory names. Any help or advise (other than dynamite) is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for calling this morning John. I've been off from work since Friday and hadn't had time to read the posts this morning. I hope that our conversation helped.
