I am in need of assistance in editing programs on a Lexicon MPX-100. For example, in the Delay/Reverb mode, how do you stop multiple repeats? I would like to wind up with perhaps 1 1/2 to 2 decending repeats. Currently, I am getting 3 1/2 repeats picking normally and several more when picking harder. Any suggestions on how to lessen the amount of repeats???? |

Mark, I use variation 11 with the effects level/balance at 3 or 4 o'clock and the adjust at 3 o'clock. The delay is not very loud with this setting but that's as close as I can get dealing with the same problem you're having. I hope this might help you.

Good effect there but still too many repeats, especially when picking too hard. Still looking for a solution. I know it can be done, but how??? |

I've never been able to dial in a setting for reverb and only one repeat. I finally bought a cheap digital delay and I use it for delay only. I use the Lex for reverb and reverb/chorus (easy on the chorus, though) combinations.

Are you using them both in the single effect mode as one Lex on reverb and the other on delay? |

I contacted Lexicon's tech support dept. They said in the dual mode, it is limited to the preset algorythms, and cannot be changed. They suggested setting the "Adjust" knob to the 12 o'clock position to soften the delays. In that position, you never really hear the additional repeats in the live band mode, but is really enhances your sustain. Here is the link to Lex's tech support dept. It's quite interesting.
