Steve, this probably is not what you are looking for, but it is a good idea. I made a polyethylene, RIGID amp cover that is very light weight. It is ideal to sit next to your steel serving as a "stand" to sit your effects rack on. I can e-mail you a photo if you would like.

Steve, call Duane Marrs shop. 615-868-5344. Jeff Surratt builds rack cases with any kind of covering. I'm sure he can set you up with legs. Duane invented and still builds pac-a-seats. Ozite, tweed, black, etc. Very reasonably priced for custom rack cases.

As I recall, Dell Case in Arkansas makes a nice carpet covered stand-up case.

Thanks. As a matter of fact, I just ordered some cabs from Duane. I'll ask Jeff about the rack thing. Actually Im thinking of it standing such that the rack units will be facing up at you as you look down to the right of your seat. Bttom of case open for cords and ventilation.

I use a little foldup Amp stand which you can adjust to get the angle right. My rack sits right next to me on my right, at a bit of an angle facing me -- same height as the guitars deck. Real easy to see and get to in a hurry.

Steve, I bought a 3 space GFI Rack that stands on 2 legs and attaches via a velcro loop to your right rear guitar leg. This brings your rack equipment up to Guitar Level so you can see and make adjustments easily. I bought this rack from Herby Wallace at one of the Knoxville Steel Jams years ago, and have had it ever since. I'm not sure if GFI still makes them, but you might try their web site or ask Herby Wallace. I have a picture of it I can send you if you would like. Good luck finding one.
