Hello Everyone: I know I've read this before but at the time I was'nt intrested. Now, I am but I don,t want to spend all night trying to find it so I'll just ask. Do any of you have George l E66's in your Emmons PP? If so, how do you like them? Also, can anyone tell me if the wide mount pick up will fit right in without any modifications to the guitar, i.e. milling or drilling? I've had BL 710's in it for 20 years and prefered them over the original single coils. However, I recently put E66's in my Sho-Bud Super Pro and the sound is so great that I thought I might put them in the Emmons. I welcome your comments, advice, an information. Thanks--------------Eddie

Eddie - I installed an E66 in my early 80's push/pull and it dropped right in. No problems at all. By the way. It sounded very much like the original single coil pickup that came on the guitar, just no hum!

Another question? When I installed the BL 710's, there was'nt enough roon for the springs that go under the pick ups---the one that slide ofer the heigth adjusting screws. The pick ups are resting directly against the body. What effect if any might this have on the sound? The old PP sounds great but sometimes it seems to sound a little muddy above the 15th fret.----------Eddie
