Saw Kenny Chesney on Crossroads with John Mellenkamp, and his 6 six guy had an amp I couldn't I.D. some sort of head and a 2-12 cabinet. He had a great sound, and of course marvelous chops. Anybody recognize what it was? Looked like a name across the cabinet, but couldn't get it. Thanks! Bruce

Most of these guys are now using "Boutique" amps.."Matchless" seems to be the brand of the moment..I saw a video with K Urban and he had 6 stacked up..like he needed all 6...The nameplate does go across the top front of the cabinet above the grill cloth.

I have not seen any "Matchless" heads..but that doesn't mean they ain't out there..

Another exceptional combo is the "Dumbel" head with custom cabinets. It is very difficult to see the "Dumbel" name as well..

Evey now and them some eccentric puts a Dumbel amp on EBAY for like 10 Grand...I usually don't bid on those !!
