I never cease to be amazed. Those old 18" WE speakers were originally designed for theater use back in the late '30s. 25 years ago, you couldn't give them away! (They have old-style "field-coil" magnets). Two years ago, they started selling for 1-2 grand. And now...25 G's a pair???

It goes to prove...brains and money do not necessairily go together.
