Post by Buck Nosaka »

Very sorry for I did not explain clearly.
When I hook up my PS to the amplifire using 3 cable hook up system by Peavey.
My question is which type of Volume pedal is suitable , 500K type or 10K type ?

Buck...everyone that I know that uses the three wire hook up uses the standard 500 ohm pot that comes in all pot pedals.

And, Buck, if you are using the 10K pots in the Goodrich H10K or L10K pedals, you should be aware that the 3-cable hookup may not be of any benefit, since those pedals have a buffer amp built into them which solves the same problem -- loss of highs when you use the pedal to lower the volume.

Just a thought worth mentioning.
