Last Fri. was the 13th., and my ‘Lucky Day’! I bought a new Peavey, Classic 50 – 212 All-Tube Amplifier! That's right, it's only 50 Glorious–Watts! I have finally gotten my favorite-sound back, after 21 yrs. of Solid-State amplification. I'm sure the addition of ‘The Enhancer’ will solve any power-problems that may occur! I'm really looking forward to my first chance to use it on stage! This ‘Tweed’ produces Tone/Sounds reminiscent of Pee-Wee Whitewing–Bob White, Hank Thompson days! Even if you don't buy one, you owe it to yourself to at least find one and try one! “Get to know vhot goot iss.” Of course, again, it's only MHO!

Bill; I'm sorry I can't help you out this time. I sold one 1000, and the other one was traded towards my Classic 50 - 212. I now have enough room to set up my steel! I would like to add that the Nashville 1000's were the best of the (Cool pairs that I've owned since '82. I was just wanting the older, natural, Tube–Amp sound back from yesteryear! Hi–Yo–Silverware!!

John,
I'm happy for you !!....It's not all the time that you stumble across a tone that puts that ear to ear grin on your face !!....If you play guitar, you are going to be smiling even more
The Classic 50 is a great guitar amp also !
Good Luck with it ....Sincerely, Jim

Well Big John, this past Friday the 13th was a luckey day for me too.
I went to the MASGA jam in Wilson NC and was able to get me another Fender Vibrosonic.
This one came from the Fender custon shop.
It is a black face reissue. As soon as I pluged in and started to tune up, I knew I was not going to leave Wilson without that amp.
I know everyone has their on ideas about what sounds good, but as far as I am concerned,
when it comes to tone, TUBES RULE
Enjoy your new amp.
