Andy, please stop! I've under therapy for my WAS(Weissenborn Acquisition Syndrome)
This is really a great deal... It has some of the lightest colored Koa I've seen on a new koa Weissenborn. It also still has some rope binding on the neck and headstock...
A beautiful piece...
Do you think it has a gloss or satin finish? After I received mine with satin, I regretted not getting the gloss - personal preference, though... |

Definitely satin.
Pretty good price considering what new ones are going for.

It's very nice - I've had the pleasure of playing it for a while. The satin finish is similar to the old Weissenborn finish - the pores on the wood aren't filled. It's a very luxurious-feeling finish. Of course, Dwight, if you have one, you know what the finish is like. I've played a gloss Kona Rocket of theirs, and I prefer the satin finish, myself.
The rope binding around the neck and the headstock was a bonus bit of rope added for the original buyer, which would be extra compared to the normal MK.
It really is a "like new" guitar. No marks, no nothing. It hasn't really been played at all (which means the buyer gets all the fun of hearing how the instrument changes over time).
Also, that price includes the case, and is available without the 12-18 month wait on a new Bear Creek. |

| All true. A pretty good deal on a fine guitar. My BC has a satin finish and I'm happy with it. I toyed with having Bill do a gloss but decided to leave well enough alone. After my recent experience with UPS, that's gonna be my motto from now on. |
