Has anyone tried the CV1 as a volume control with any success on a Peavey unit? I have a chance to pick one up via the net and would like some feedback on the use of one first.

Ken, the CV-1 is a basic continuous controller pedal that doubles as a normal volume pedal. It should work well with the Profex II.

I think I will give one a whirl! Let you know how that works outs. It would be nice to drive the guitar right into the Profex, or in my case a Transtubefex. I use the Peterson settings a lot now. Most of his have a compressor as the first effect. The compressor needs a full guitar pickup signal to operate at its best! This might really be the ticket!
