I need a replacement power transformer for a Peavey Vegas 400. Does Peavey still provide such parts? Anyone?

Thanks,

Brad, I bet it is the same transformer that is in the Nashville 400. It seems I had a discussion with someone from the Forum about this just recently (via email)! I was just checking some old schematics I had and found that part #70518715 was the transformer for the Session 500 and the Nashville 400. I would bet that is the one you have in your amp as well.

Brad, Ken is right, that's the part you want, I just got one two weeks ago, it supplies 50 VDC positive and negative and the 15 VDC pos and neg for the preamp section, they have them in stock and price is $52.41, shipping was free! got it in less than a week, if you have never done business with peavey parts your in for a pleasant surprise

Thanks, Jim. It was you and I that talked about this a few weeks ago! The memory unit is failing fast!!! Ditto on the customer service and the free freight on parts, what a deal! Peavey is out there to support their products, this just proves it again.

Ken, I suggest that you "reinitialize" your memory! Take care and thanks for helping this customer.

Brad, you may contact our Parts Department at (601)483-5365 or 1-877-732-8391.

Brad, best of luck on that one! Wonder what took it out to start with? Was there a shorted diode in the power supply?

Mike, I think my battery is too low, can't seem to initialize the old memory unit!!!
