Jim, just curious, have you tried to reset and reload your setting from a cashe card (assuming you have one)? Reset to factory settings is done with the play and global buttons held down and then power applied. Caution, you will lose all settings and have to put them back in. If that works and you get your settings back in there, take a look at the memory battery and see if it is leaking or has "blue fuzz" growing on one end. Just remove six screws around the top, re,ove the lid and look in there. I hope that helps you out.
There is a post within the last few days of another unit with the same message in the screen. You might look over the last 5 days and find that post.

Great reply and info from Ken (as usual)! Also, if you scroll down to the post by Joe Sapp with the same "ProFex" problem it is addressed by Mike Brown |

Not to speak for Mike Brown, but ask him, I bet he might do it for you! His customer service is the best out there!
Resetting did not help, I assume??? |

Ken I think I'll send it back & get it checked out. I didn't try to reset it because I am not knowledgable enough to program it with new newman settings.
It probably need a new battery & I want them to put a mod in it anyway as I bought it new.
Jim
ps. thanks for the help!
