To settle a debate, will running a PSG through a Vibrolux reverb damage the speakers (E9 or C6 neck or either)?

As with any model of six string guitar amps, it will depend on how loud and how low of a frequency that you send to it.

The magnet on these speakers are fairly small which helps in obtaining the brightness of the amp, so the speaker is not designed to reproduce the wide frequency range of a steel guitar. It will work, but there are limitations.

You should be able to blow them up very easily with a C6! I would think you should be able to push the cones right out of the magnet with a C6. 40 watts of distortion can nail a small speaker pretty fast! The original Oxfords and Jensens are great guitar speakers, but the C6 is a demanding critter! Proceed with caution!
