A friend of mine has purchased the above Lexicon unit and is having trouble going to the owner's manual directions explaining how to program this effects unit . I wish I knew how to do it and understand the proceedure in simple language . Most of the directions that come with these units are complicated to read and follow . I wish I could help him but I have no clue about Lexicon programing . I play a Digitech Studio Quad 4 and it's directions were very hard also but I had help .
Would anyone who has extensive knowledge about this model Lexicon's programing proceedure , be kind enough to email my friend and explain the step by step format in simple terms ?

Contact NEIL FLANZ, I own A new Lexicon 100 and got all my settings from Neil who owns one also, in fact I was over his apartment and he set the unit up for me. He programmed his own settings into my new unit, works great too. Only problem I encountered while over there was once he started playing I wanted to burn my steel and jump off his balcony , this guy is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kenneth - I use an MPX-100, as do several other Forumites. Could you perhaps post some of Neil's settings here for us to try out?

Just a couple of ideas,most steel player`s like the Lexi verb and delay. After reading the manual on pre and post volume setting`s and with any reverb setting get your wet to dry in order. Then go to the big dial whatever it`s called I don`t have one in front of me so im winging it. Find the dual setting`s on the right hand side labeled Delay/reverb,then go to the 16 variation`s next to it. One by one play and switch until you find the setting clossest to your taste then play with the adjust to tweek it. Then push store then go to the user setting on the big Mother knob then push store you are then on user variation 1. Then go to the blend knob and go by color right to left one side will be your delay use tap for your speed use only delay for that Emmons sound or blend in reverb to taste or go the other way all the way to get verb, tweek with the wet/dry to taste. Same works for all dual setting`s Chorus/verb etc. The MPX 100 AND 110 will due almost what the 500 will do but without the window it`s difficult so I would keep it simple if it were me. But Lexicon say`s it give`s you all the rope you want to hang yourself with. To cut the rope reanitalize. I wish sometime`s I could reanitilize my spelling.

Here' Neil Flanz's setting that he gave me. I don't have the settings that he created for me which he saved in my unit using the SAVE button. But I do have the following settings that he gave me when I first went to his apartment to set this effects unit up.
IN PUT: 2PM
MIX: 12 noon
OUT PUT: 2PM
EFFECT/LEVEL: 1PM
ADJUST: 12 noon
VARIATION: #5
PROGRAM: #1
Hope these work, like I said try to e-mail Niel, he'll be glade to help you out.
