Preamps......TubeWorks vs Evans

Does anyone have any comparisons to make between the Blue Tube w/steel mod and the Evans preamps?

Yes, they are both excellent. I've had both.
Depending on what speaker and guitar combo you are using you will get different results. Neither is better than the other. The Blue Tube warms up the third string. The Evans is great for sharp edges (which I like. I found a Blue Tube with a push-pull to be a great combination. The Evans actually improved on the sound of a Mullen that I had.
