good trade?
I have an older Mesa Boogie Mark 2 amp in great condition. A friend of mine has a 72 twin with master volume. Like to have feedback as to if this would be a good trade for the both of us.
Chip, I say you should get more for the Boogie, however the Twin should be a better amp for steel. The master volume version is not so much sought after but with good speakers ( I prefer JBLs) it is a fine amp for PSG.

The Boogie is most likely worth more money than the Twin and for my taste in amps the Boogie is a much better amp.
Even with the stock Boogie single 12" you should be able to get plenty of mids and lows.
Fender twins can be great amps but they have a very particular sound that does not suit everybody.
