I just bought a new Nashville 1000. When I play my steel (Emmons D-10 PP) I get a loud hum and have to crank the volume way up. The amp works fine with a guitar and seems fine without the petal plugged in. With the petal, it is muddy and not clear at all. Can anyone help?? Also, if I need a new petal and/or volume petal pot, does anyone know how I can get one from the Emmons Company? Thanks

| Check your cables. If it works fine direct, going through the volume pedal adds another cable and that cable could be the problem. |

| Muddy sound? Try reversing the 2 plugs that go into the volume pedal. Buzzing? Like Jack said...that's probably just a bad cord. |

| Sounds to me like you might be using a speaker cord instead of a shielded guitar cable for one of your cords. Just a thought. |
