Need 500 k volume pedal pot.

I have an old hamond pedal that I am wanting to fix. It has a nylon gear on the pot and a gear rack on the pedal. The pot shaft is about 1/4 inch dia. and about 3/4 inch long. The mounting threaded part is about 3/8 inch dia. with a nut. The pedal and works is in good shape. I think a regular pot will work by drilling a hole in the shaft. Anyone have a 500 k that may work? Thanks
