I have an old Kustom 2-12 (it is designed for 2 12 inch speakers)enclosure, that has no speakers. Externally this enclosure is in great shape. I figure I might as well use it, even if Tuck & Roll isn't in style any more.

What would be the best speakers to put in this enclosure for use with a PSG? And what would be the best way to wire them? In series, paralell, or stereo?

Also would it be better to remove the ports,(it has 2 ports between the 2 speaker openings) and replace them with tweeters?

What would be the best amp head to drive this enclosure, to make it sound good with a PSG? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd leave the porting in there. Put in a couple of 8 ohm speakers in parallel and you will have 4 ohms, typical load for many amps.

If you have a closed back speaker cabinet you need porting. Putting tweeters in there will not provide any porting (air).

I have a rack system with a Peavey Transtube Fex and a MosValve 500 power amp into two separate 12" 1203-8 Black Widow speakers. It's a great outfit. I don't know what they would sound like if both were in the same enclosure.

I think that a open back cabinet is needed
for the steel. If you could get a couple of
single 12 cabs made and use the BW's in each cab. Talk about a wall of tone.
Think about it.
