Volume/tone Pedal

Post by Archie Cox »

Does anyone still manufacture a volume/tone pedal like the old Bigsby or Fender pedals? If the are manufatured, where could they be purchased?

I have three Fender V/T's.
I love them! I re-wire them as expression pedals to use with "Multi-effect" units.
Bigsby was having them made by an "Outside Company" up until they were sold to Gretsch Guitars.
They might know who the "Outside Co." was and they may still be available.
[This message was edited by db on 06 July 2000 at 08:32 PM.]

I am talking with Fred Gretsch about the reissue of the Bigsby Volume/Tone pedal.
He has a large inventory of parts, but is not interested in manufacuring them.
Is there still an interest in them, what would you pay for a brand new one?

Hi Ricky, I have two emails sitting in my out box to send to you with pictures of the wiring diagram and the string routing for the Fender V/T pedal. Unfortunately, my @home mail server is down AGAIN. I may not be home until Sunday but will try again then.

I play a Fender tone/vol pedal, and like it quite well. A guitar player buddy has a Fender tone wah that is active- has a little circuit board in there. His is non-functional. I assume that it more of a "wah" than a simple pot/cap tone circuit (like mine).

Anybody know anything about these active Fender pedals?

By the way, Herby Wallace said he was going to be getting some newly made Bigsby pedals. This was a year ago. It must have fallen through.
