Can anyone tell me if there is a insurance company that will insure equipment anywhere you take it? My band was discussing this the other night and have had difficulty insuring music equipment while it was not in the home. Any suggestions will help.

Hi Douglas, pretty good coverage is available through the local musician's union but you have to be a member to get it. Premiums are based on the $ amount of gear insured. I can't remember the name of the company offhand but I can find it for you if you like. Some feel like it's worth the cost on union dues just to qualify for the insurance.

You know I think local muscians union here is pretty much been busted a long time ago. I would appreciate the name of the company if you dont mind. I know I have to much money invested in my work equipment to have a loss that I could not replace right now. As this would devestate me due to this is how I make my living. Thanks

At Clarions Insurance site ...they offer $12,500.00 for only $21.00 a month.
Not bad. |
