POCO with Furay, Messina, Young, Grantham and Meisner. I had no idea they had reunited for this album! I love Randy Meisner on those high harmonies, man... I always thought he was part of the sound of the Eagles... and that they lost something distinctive when he left. This is cool stuff... I included a piece of commentary from YouTube below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgAk9gCq3uQ

"In the middle of the Rusty Young & Paul Cotton Poco years, a reunion of the original lineup occurred in 1989 producing the album Legacy with Richie Furay, George Grantham, Randy Meisner, Jim Messina, and of course Rusty Young. This was the single release - Call It Love with Rusty handling the lead vocal and Jim cutting loose on lead guitar."

MY daughter bought me this CD when it came out back then It has one or two Richie tunes and very cool Jimmy tune and the rest I believe is Rusty and the gang...

I am thinking Richie was Pastor of his Church at this time ...not sure if he still is or not...

I had no idea that Rusty was such a fine singer as well..the CD is purty good...

I remember this tune from it being on the American Top 40. I thought it sounded like the Eagles, and always assumed it was Randy on lead vocal. That out of phase strat sound was sooooo 80's. I was surprised to hear that Ritchie was in the middle of that reunion. I didn't know that. Is that him in the background with the Gretsch? He's keeping a pretty low profile in the video if that's him.
