Last week or so there was a thread about Faron not getting much air play on XM Satellite Radio. So I just thought there might be some interest in his music.
Faron had so many great shuffles and country hits thru the years it's just amazing. If you like Faron and have Sirius Satellite Radio tune into the roadhouse 62 they play at least 1 Faron shuffle every hour and sometimes 2. He's pretty hot in roataion right now but he always get a lot of air play on Sirius.
I just thought I'd let you Sirius subscribers know and for those of you thinking about signing up for a Satellite Radio service and you that also like Faron as well as the Opry in near CD quality Sirius might be something to look into.

I have both Sirius (On Dish Network in my home) and XM (in my cars) satellite radio. Both provide great traditional country music. Channel 13 used to be called Hank's Place on XM radio but recently has been purchased by Willie so now it goes by Willie's place. Same station, same great music. And yes I have heard many great shuffles by Faron Young on both satellite radio systems. Probably the two I have heard the most are "
If I Ever Fall in Love with a Honky Tonk Girs" and "Leaving and Saying Goodbye". Occassionally I hear two more of my all time Faron Young favorites, "There's Not Any Like You Left" and "Will I Ever Get Used to Being Your Old Use to Be". Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that the late great Jimmy Day played steel on both of these outstanding traditional country music recordings.
