A friend of mine was going to Las Vegas to visit the wife's family. Thinking he would never be able to get away to see a show, he thought he'd check online to see who was in town. Hey! Jimmy Buffet, and they offered a 6 pack of tickets that he thought he might get the family to go to. So, he clicked in and got 3rd row seat dead center for $939.00. When he clicked finish, the bill came up $5634.00. The tickets were $939.00 a piece! Makes me wonder what the Celine tickets go for???? Too much, ya think?

He said there were some tickets for $150.00, but they were in the parking lot. For real.
But! You can bet that some HIGH hi-roller paid the price.

This reminds me of the old Steve Martin bit off his first album where he tried calculating how much he could make at various ticket prices. I forgot the amount but on the last one he says, "One show.....goodbye!"

No, I wouldn't call it a rip-off. It sounds like just another case of the buyer not carefully reading the description in the listing.  In most cases where more than one or two tickets are available, the bid amounts are the price for one ticket. Very few sellers would restrict themselves (limit their profit) by trying to sell a larger block of tickets.
Concert tickets on ebay regularly sell for several hundred to several thousand dollars each. I have a relative who sells tickets there, and it's an extremely lucrative business. Yes, you can get hard-to-find tickets, but just like buying that mint '57 Strat on ebay, expect to pay top dollar. |

I dunno Bob, there are down-sides...
We have to act normal or our interpersonal relationships get really wierd..
I just go quietly by myself dressed in drag when he's in Portland.
Good show.

Daynawills, the Celine show is in the Caesars Palace Coliseum. The tickets are $200. Chrysler is the producer of the show. |

$1000 for each ticket ?
Does it come with a Cheesburger ?
I would be willing to bet that it was $1000 for all 6 and something got wacky..
I think like b0b says, qty 1 was for 6 tickets, qty 6 was for 36 tickets.

The best show that I have ever seen in Vegas was the BLUE MAN GROUP Live At Luxor...funny stuff with great music. At $90.00 a head, a pretty good deal.
