Hello,
I had seen J.T.'s name on so many liner notes lately I had to find out some more about him. I did find this nice article that tells his story:
http://specials.tribstar.com/nashville/corenflos/
I always like reading a story about someone who managed to make it in this crazy business, as opposed to the dozens of very talented people I have known who just never seem to have gotten that one break that set them down the path to success.
Congrats to J.T. I see he plays guitar on just about every cut on Sara Evans' new album, should be worth listening to for at alone, even if PF is only on about 3 songs.

Thanks for the info Gerald on J.T. Is Sara's new cd out yet? I love Sara's latest single "A real fine place to start". |

I've had the pleasure of using J.T. on several studio things over the years and he has always played with passion and taste and at the same time had a great attitude.
He's a fine musician and has written some really cool instrumentals. |

I've known J.T. since his days with Joe Stampley. Glad to see him getting some well-deserved recognition. He is a gifted player and a class act for sure! |

Sara Evans' new album is slated for release on October 4. I work for the parent company of the BMG part of SONY BMG and get promos early. The playing is impeccable throughout, especially JT's, Gary Morse's and Paul's. The only thing that I don't get is the lack of dynamics...her CD really suffers from that "brick wall" thing that we have talked about here from time to time. So much compression it's hard to believe. |
