In case you missed it:
Book and CD

Now, if I can just put my six string down long enough to learn how to play Banjo the "right way." I have an Epiphone MB-250

I still have my original book, but as luck would have it, I lent my banjo out and never got it back.

This is awesome news!

This is *THE* book on banjo. The tab in the original edition is full of errors and for years the people at Oak Publishing said "We know but, its selling fine the way it is". Looks like I will be getting a second copy!

Legend has it that the original book was written by Bill Keith, Scruggs gave it his approval. The same Bill Keith who helped Winnie Winston write the book on pedal steel. I wonder where he is now, maybe writing the book on sitar or timpani ?

"The tab in the original edition is full of errors"
Really? I wish I'd known That when I had the book!
Honestly that is shameless, that they would considered keeping it on the market uncorrected just because it was "selling well enough" as if anyone who wanted to play banjo weren't "too much of an idiot already"... hmph.
That one and the "Litte Red Pete Seeger Book" were a great introduction to the insturment, for me...

A point of interest is that this is a highly recommended book for Dobro players because of the information on rolls which can be adapted for the dobro. Rob Ickes recommends it but I was unable to find it when I was first starting to play dobro.
