The Moe(pronounced moy) family got well deserved front page mention in www.hawaii@starbulletin.com today. A brief overview, and a few of their exploits were told, of which hopefully a book(at least) fully detailing the reality will soon happen. Their life story is beyond the stuff of Hollywood, and to say the least, very interesting. A fine picture of Tau, his wife Rose, and daughter Dorian, is included on page 6. Also on the front page, is a photo of a true and very rare tornado in the pineapple fields of Oahu, which occured yesterday. For once, the morning paper was worth 50 cents!

I had heard a lot of stories about Tao Moe but that one is really something. Thanks, Ron.

It's a fine article of a great family. I would estimate the pic was taken about a year before Rose passed away. It has taken a long time for Hawai'i to recognize the adventures of the "Aloha 4" ... too bad Lani and Rose are no longer here to not only enjoy this deserved recognition, but to be an integral part of it also. I do hope a TV documentary will be realized soon and that Tau will still be here to enjoy it. Someone should contact Bill Kurtis of BIOGRAPHY....he's missing a great story !
