Im considering having one of these benders installed in a G&L guitar. Anybody out there ever have one of these benders? They look like a pretty good unit. bob

Hey Bob, are you sure one of those benders will work in a G&L? Most of them have that solid block bridge unit and I believe that the McVay pulls the string down into the guitar like a Glaser bender instead of to a hub like the Parsons/White. You might want to check with Mike Nihen AKA "Stringpull" about a bender. I got one of his units installed in my favorite Tele and he only had the guitar for two weeks and his work rivals the best out there. His website is www.stringpull.com Have a good 'un...JH in Va.

Hey Bob, he doesn't email too much. It's best to give him a call at (703) 978-5479 and he's usually there as his shop is at his house. If he doesn't answer leave a message and he'll call you back. He's great, I needed an adjustment on mine and he drove all the way to Virginia Beach one Saturday and did it for me free of charge. A real great guy.....JH in Va.

I'm sure they make great benders, but take a look at our B&G Benders too. Might be what you're looking for or not.
