The steeler is Denny Hemingson and yes, Tim uses the DHDs in the studio these days.

I'm not a TM fan, but I heard this song today, and I think that's great steel tone, very tastefully executed. Better tone than I've heard on a mainstream hit in a long time. Just my humble opinion.

Say what you want guys, but he is the one bringing in the dough. Somebody likes it. Also there is no comparison between Remember When, and Back When.

Maybe you guys could help me with that quick little steel lick at the end of the first chorus.. I've got most of the tune learned except I came up with a few different ways to play that part. Gmaj lick 10th fret? or does it start there and move down from there? Kind of sounds a little chromatic Does a similar deal later off 5th fret. i think
Mel, I will try to tab these out and put them in the tab section next week. I'm tied up with work, playing, and cardiac rehab and won't be able to get to it until then. These are pretty tasty licks.

Thanks Steve. That would be great. I think I'm close, but It's always interesting to see what the more experienced guys come up with.. I usually make it harder than it is.. I've only been playing 4 or 5 years... Cardiac? Hope your doing o.k.
