Last night a man who does tributes to Hank Williams performed on Mid-West Country and had a steel player with him with a Gibson Counsole like the one Don Helms has. A nice change of pace and enjoyable. Joe did a nice John Hughey style ride on "Nobody Answered" sang by a lady.

Farris,
My brother calls me weekly to let me know about this great show! I have Ye Olde COX cable and if it's on their lineup, I haven't found it yet! Do we have any COX employees who could put in a good word for us cable guys to add this program? I'm going to ask our local COX crowd about the possibility of getting RFD---of course, we'll have to pay, but I'd be happy to drop CMT for it???? Carl

Lost lifetime, lost speed channel, lost Fox net, lost FX, can't wait till we get hooked to Dish network so we can watch all those great ole country shows.

Mon.am,Stephen i knew better than that, must have sipped one to many!!! haha,i just wish the whole world had this type of programing.they have programs for most everyones interest.and the old tractors, wow, great stuff.out door cooking, horses, cows, farming!!on and on.I love the Texas Reporter also.as far as i'm concerned at my house they could keep most the other chs.but my wife love the OLD Game shows on 116,she gets excited when people win money!i say, that was 40yrs.ago,that money has been spent!!! shes a invalid!!!

OK,lets all keep cheering R F D, farris

I watch the Midwest Country Show every Sat. It's a great layed back country show. I sent a demo cd to them and was accepted to do a spot, but had to cancel due to some family situations that came up. I'm going to try to do it in the future tho for sure.
