Got to be the Drunken Driver By Simon Crum alias Ferlin Huskey.
It was banned over here in the U.K. Why?
We now are trying to bring awareness to this menace especially at this time of year.
Why not re release this one.I challenge anyone to listen to it and not shed a tear.
Seasons Greetings

Kate Rusby's `My Young Man`. It's more folk than country, but a beautiful song nonetheless.

I recorded a song titled " White Walls ", written by C.Carson Parks..this is one of the saddest songs I know of. ( He also wrote "Cab Driver" : Hank Thompson,Mills Brothers hit ;"Something Stupid" : a super hit for Frank Sinatra), and lots more..
Have a listen sometime...thank you...

The saddest song ever written is "OLD SHEP" written by Red Foley. I know we're still mad at Elvis for putting everybody out of work, but he sure did a nice rendition of it. This is the only song ever written that can make a room full of ten year olds cry.

The second saddest song ever written is "MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED" written by Donny Sawyer

This song could bring a tear to a glass eye.
The lyrics are sad enough as they are, but you really have to hear the song to get a good lump going . .

MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED

Each day I wake up reaching for her
But she's not here the tenth day in a row
Til death do us part we promised we'd stay together
MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED
I already feel the cold

I wonder how she can go on living
To me there's nothing left worth living for
So if you see her before I go please tell her
MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED
I already feel the cold

These four walls that once were our bedroom
Are like a prison where I am growing old
I chalk one more day to mark this lifetime sentence
MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED
I already feel the cold

I wonder how she can go on living
To me there's nothing left worth living for
So if you see her before I go please tell her
MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED
I already feel the cold
Oh MY DAYS ARE NUMBERED
I already feel the cold

NOW YOU CAN HEAR IT
