Fred,
Unfortunately, I don't have copies of either of those songs.

Here are the basic chords to Killing Me Softly:
Verse - Am7 D G C Am7 D Em Am7 D G B
Chorus - Em C D G Em A D C G C F E

I was doing pretty well with remembering "You are the sunshine of my life" but then when I got to the part with all the Maj7 chords I realized that I just can't remember what all those changes sound like that lead back into the rest of the song. There might even be some key changes.

Give me a call if you think I could be of any help. 707 644 1667 - (California time)

Good luck.

I think I have Band-In-A-Box files for both of them if that would help any. If you're not using BIAB for practicing, you should be. IMHO which doesn't mean much.

Hey Fred, what's a "girl, lady, female singer"? Is that the opposite of a "boy, man, male singer"?

Sonny, Hal, & Weldon did a nice arrangement of "Killing Me Softly" on the Steel Guitars of the Grand OLe Opry album.

Mike Auldridge did "Killing Me Softly" on Dobro a long time back, on the "Blues & Bluegrass" album. No pedals, but it might give you ideas.
