Wow. Very unfortunate.

Gary sang "A Showman's Life" with Willie Nelson on his last album, See If I Care. I can't help but wonder if Angela crumpled under celebrity-spouse pressures hinted at by this song.

You know, you see me bragging all over this Forum about my grandson Caleb. Yet, five years ago I found his mother unconcious on her bedroom floor from a large Rx overdose.

I got her to the ER and stayed with her all day in case she didn't make it while her mother returned from Ohio. She did make it but the memory never leaves you and that shadow of a doubt is always right over your shoulder.

I know it is tragic for the survivor's but if it is the easy way out, I don't know who it is easy for. You are always wondering when another of life's harsh turnings will recreate the previous conditions and you find yourself back where you started from. And this time with a little child you have to explain things to and help start their life over.

But then, no one promised me a rose garden...so where do all these weeds come from ??

I lost a favorite sister n law that way in 89. It changed everybodys lives in the family. Very tragic. A couple of years later I had someone call me threatening suicide and I called 911. They were really mad for a few weeks but they're alive today.
