I'm always sad to hear that Merle's health is troubling him. I hope he's able to get back to his tour soon.

This is the good news from the article:

Soon Merle will mark his return to Capitol Records with a new album he has been working on. We will keep you posted on his health and new recording as soon as we hear more.

Keep us posted, Norm.

Without a doubt one of the greatest singer/songwriters that America has ever produced. He's been my favorite artist for as long as I can remember and I wish him a speedy recovery.

MERLE RULES AND KNOWS ALL!!!!!!!

Get Well Soon HAG.

I saw Merle Haggard for the first time in my life two years ago. He and his band perform a show! No silly tricks, no smoke and mirrors, just real, good music. I hope he gets well because I would like to see him perform many more times.
