First thing I would do is strip it down to natural ( aka. John Lennon) and add a Bigsby Palm Pedal and maybe add some value to this non-pedal axe..

One of the DJ's here in Atlanta was talking about a lot of Johnny Cash memoribillia (?) going up for sale, as opposed to being donated or lent to the Country Music Hall of Fame. It seems like a shame to me. May be true for this guitar as well.

| In regards to the Cash stuff that will be auctioned by Sotheby's, Kathy Cash has said that her dad had started planning for the after June's death. The family members got a number of choice items that had personal meaning, but the rest he wanted auctioned off. She also said that he did not want to re-open House of Cash as a museum or have any museum because it was too egotistical. |

Anyhow, you can check the "Official Vintage Guitar Price Guide", and the "Blue Book of Guitar Values". Both of them List a blond Strat being available in '56.
Or...you could ask Brad Gillis to show you his!
