GeorgeBoard

Post by Christer Fredriksen »

Hi!
I have just received my new 8 string lap steel from George Piburn. I really must say that this instrument is just beatiful. Fantastic sustain, and a well sounding microphone makes this a real pleasure to play. This guy knows what he is doing!!

Beautiful guitars, what are the little black string keepers on the head for? Just wondereded if they helped with overtones.

Thanks a lot for bringing a GeorgeBoard to one of my favorite countries!! We named this instrument "Halle" (Berry)

I have been to Bergen, Voss, and Moulda for Jazz Festivals.

The String Trees are to help keep the 4 center strings held down to the Brass Roller Nut to prevent String Rattle and to give more even pressure across the roller. Improving the Sustain.
