Brad...
Finally a posting we all unite on, and bond, and cheer, and (you close it?) I say we take all the times we've acidentally poked ourselves in the finger while changing strings (drawing blood and a lot of hurt), and mentally inflict it on this guy. This is unacceptable, and knowing how sweet Baz is, the Irish in me just gets inflamed. Or flamed. By the way, speaking of bagpipes, I just took my Mom (flew her in from Indiana, because she's loved him since I was a young, little boy) to see Glen Campbell in Tacoma, Washington, and half of his show was a Christmas special (by the way, Kenny Scaggs played some Emmons pedal -- anyone heard of him? Very nice), and Glen played bagpipes (how much more Scottish can you get than "Campbell?") on "Little Drummer Boy," and it brought everybody to their feet. Truly incredible. Glen is an icon. And if anyone disagrees, let's redirect our attention to that bastard that tried to rip off Basil.

My geuss is that the topic was closed because of the homicidal comments. I know it was all fun and games, but I understand why Brad closed it. If I moderated a chat room, I wouldn't want that on my clock either.
I'm sure it would still be an open topic if firearms had not been mentioned. Maybe we should of talked about toilet papering the guys house, instead.

This topic is also in danger of being closed as it doesn't refer to Lap steel...although I DO see members discussing their hobbies in all sections of the forum...

I closed the thread because although it started with a discussion about a lap steel, it degenerated into topics having nothing to do with non pedal steel guitars. I suppose I could have moved it to Buy/Sell where it would have been more appropriate, but given the way the discussion drifted, I didn't think it would have survived long there either.
