Nice looking Fry Pan, but; are the tuning keys supposed to be upside-down from what you would expect, for a handy-tuning? I think I'd want to turn them up!

All Fry pans I've seen so far and that were in original shape had the tuning knobs facing down. Most will agree with you and just swap the two sets around, unless it's 7 stringer (now what a good reason NEVER to buy a 7 stringer!).

I must admit that I am not very familiar with this guitar, but; can't the {never mind, I just figured it out}. End-over-end won't get it!

If that frypan goes for as much as Bill thinks it might, I'll sure think about selling my 7 string early thirtys frypan.
The knobs on the one for sale are not original, and that kind of spoils it in my opinion.
Anyway, I'm a bakelite guy, even though I have a d-8 Stringmaster set up in my office, as well as other guitars.

Couple of days ago wasn't this bid up over $1600? Now I'm seeing 0 bids with $15 for openers. Strange

I recall one from last year that ended at $5,100! It started at $1,500, I believe it was.
