Or whatever the initials are of the Recording Industry of America. Prior to their acting up and sueing everybody for a download, at least if you had an old song you wanted to hear or relearn for an audience request, you could listen to it on the web and refresh your memory. Forget buying the album. Who's going to spend $15 to learn one old song again.
For the allmighty dollar or the faint hope of one, they have taken away some enjoyment and sunshine out of our life. A pox on them and their ilk.

Check out "I tunes". Each tune is under a dollar. Plus you get the personal satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to support the people that created the music you love.

The article doesn't say that purchased downloads will stop, or even that Apple's iTunes prices will go up. It talks about confusion over album pricing, albums with missing tunes, and inconsistencies among the various online music providers. It's a new field, and confusion is understandable. The dust will settle in the next couple of years, I think. I personally love the iTunes service. I've purchased nearly 150 songs from them. I'm a happy customer! i think it's a great service, and I hope it continues with few bumps or potholes in the road.... |

I'm not against paying a buck or two to download a song, but where am I gonna find "Till I gain control again" or "I'm not Lisa" or "The night I stole old Sammy Morgans gin?" |

Ken, I have Sammy Morgans Gin on an old Hank Snow Album. If I knew how I'd put it on here for you. |
