I'm listening to AOL-Radio "Classic Country" right now. Been listening to it for months now. Fantastic classic country selections, rivaling "Hank's Place" on XM satellite radio. I just listened to "Wade Ray with Noel Boggs" (AOL listed it like that) playing "It's All Your Fault."
I would program my radio station just like it.

I didn't about AOL radio?
I listen to local radio.
I tend to think it's the best.

I tuned in with Hoyt, and it took me back to Daytona Beach when I was there and Hoyt's bus was parked by my bike when those guys were taking a vacation from touring! Those were the good days!!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I love XM radio and it is the only music radio I listen to. Hank's Place is great. AM/FM's Country radio today doesn't work for me. Except for Talk radio I would probably never turn it on.
I need to hear more than the same 20 songs over a years time. Clear Channel stations are seeking to play less and advertise more. The good ole days were gone until satelite radio came along. They are our only hope for diversity.

That's definitely cool -- good listenin'!! But it seems like a few of the categories are somewhat arbitrary. I think I heard two or three Waylon tunes from the same album in as many different categories. |
