I picked up the new Linda Lay cd yesterday at the Cracker Barrel in Kerrville, TX with Ricky Davis on steel. This is one of the best pure country cd's that I've heard in a long time.

Linda does and excellent job!! I haven't heard such a pure country voice since Connie Smith. Ricky's playing really puts it over the top. Ya'll get on out to Cracker Barrel and pick one up. They had just received the cd's when I was there, and had nearly sold out... you can also order it on line from http://www.crackerbarrel.com/about-heritage.cfm?doc_id=511.

Cracker Barrels are popping up all over the place. Stopped this week in Rehobeth Beach DE
and got Linda's along with Bill Kerchin's and Seldom Scene

Listened once and I'm impressed.

I have to agree with everything that Johnny said about this CD..I picked mine up yesterday at our local Cracker Barrel ( Yes we have one here in Yuma!)..Ricky's playing is flawless & beautiful.I must say if you don't like pure Country music tho - stay away from this - it needs the warning label on it - it is that good.!!!!!!..This woman can really sing too - reminds me a little of EmmyLou & a touch of Allison in there in her voice.Well worth the money even if you have to order it..Ricky has them pedals smokin' too!! Great CD & a GREAT JOB Ricky!!!!!
Thanks Ron
