Received word that Arreta McReynolds, wife of Bluegrass great Jim McReynolds of Jim & Jesse, passed away from a heart attack on Thursday. Our prayers and condolences go out to Jim and his family.

Things are really bad for the family for sure. I'd heard that Jesse who was the lead vocalist/madolin player of the group had throat cancer or something and couldn't sing anymore and his grandson was touring with the Virginia Boys. I guess every good thing has to end sometime. I really love their music. My thoughts are with Jim for the loss of his wife. JH
