The only part of the sample that sounded like a Pedal Steel, was the ending chord--of course I wasn't listening thru megabucks worth of electronic processing equipment....overall I'd give it a LAME rating ....

I always thought that you couldn't do loop-based country music because country music has a chord progression. That "sample song" really proved me wrong. Apparently you can play country without bothering to change chords. 
I think the old adage "When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail" applies here somehow...

| Ultimately, it comes down to lyrics and melody. A good song will still sound good with looped samples. |

| That whole thing sounds terrible. Maybe the mandolin sound is fair. Glad I don't have Sonic Foundry, and from the sounds of that stuff, never will. |
