WSM 650 AM Radio News reports that Grand Ole Opry Star...Stu Phillips underwent successful Heart By Pass Surgery today in a Nashviolle Hospital...and is resting comfortably.

I worked with Stu in 67 at a place up here called the Stage House, that brought a lot of Nashville artists in. Stu is a great person, & a smooth singer! I certainly hope he fully recovers as well as I did from the same surgery, that I had 2yrs. ago! If someone in Nashville, that knows Stu, gets this message, please relay it to him!& let him know I'll be praying for him! Thanks! au
