I see that Country Music Television is going to do reruns of "The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour" starting next Tuesday. That should be fun as well as take us back to the old times.

Dangit, I forgot to watch! Janice, since you do so well with the Opry listings, how about reminding us of the Glen Campbell and the Austin City Limits shows on CMT before they air?

Talk about nostalga, or however it's spelled. All those guys look so young, particularly the Hag. I kinda didn't like it at first, it was so 70's and reminded me of the old "can't go home again" thing. I watched it thru however and decided to roll with it. After that it was fun. Now I can't wait till next week.

We bought an inexpensive home theater speaker setup a while back. Wow, what great sound. I really liked the (new) song Buck did. Gonna have to pack up Mama and drive the hour and a half to Bakersfield to catch Buck while he's still pickin.

It was also plainly obvious that Freddie Hart was lip-syncing (sp?)...

One thing we must not forget was what John Hartford contributed to the show. I was not a big banjo person but John and Jimmy Webb was both important to Glens' success and his guest topped off the ice cream.

Any one ever heard Glen's twelve string special album, I wore mine out playing my guitar to that one when I was a younger lad.

Hope the bright suits of Mr L did not blind anyone. I think that arrangment of Hello Young Lovers was based on Paul Anka's.

I caught the show tonight, thanks to Janice. And to think, we used to dress and wear our hair like that!
