A few months ago on a previous thread the subject of the Gannaway videos came up. These are remarkable archival films of performances by Opry stars (E.Tubb, Ray Price,Jim Reeves,etc.) made in the early 50's. Until now they have only been available in highly edited form .
It seems that someone has finally realized the historical value of this footage . Catalog Music Co. of Nashville (www.PureCountryMusic.com ) is offering all 24 volumes unedited under a video series titled Opry Stars of the 50s. Simply search video at their site
