I was listening to the Opry via WSM's Real hook up and it went dead. Now when I try to log on, I get an error message about configuration. I don't want to miss the Big E. |

Yea, Same happened to me and I purchased the Total Recorder just so I could record it. If everyone e-mails them, i'm sure they will archive it. |

Great Show!!!!!
Nothing Like the Big E to get exposure like that for the Steel Guitar.
I suspect the Guy who wears the silly looking shorts may have engineered some of this "HAPPENING"

Rats! Me, too! I reconfigured so many times... Guess I'll have to get it when it's archived.
I heard a little bit of it on the way home from the gig in the car. Buddy played Moonlight in Amarillo and it sounded great! Then it faded out... Timing I guess.

Their server is still dead this Sunday AM,
I was listening to the Opry Show an hour or so before the BE/JB show and it died at that time.

DVA...the "clear-channel" license is only recognized in the USA. Some stations in Cuba and Mexico pump out 500,000 watts! (That's 10 times what is allowed in this country.) No wonder they bleed over everything on the dial! |

Recieved an email that Johnny Bush/Buddy Emmons' performance on the Midnight Jamboree would be archieved 3-22-02. I just checked the archieved shows and it appears that the 3-2-02 show has been put up in the past few days. So, it looks like things are progressing according to schedule. Just a reminder for those, like myself, that didn't get to hear it.

Donny,
Ever heard the ZZ Top song, "Heard It On the X?" They talk about those high-power Mexican radio stations just south of the Texas/Mexico border. . .
"Do you remember
back in nineteen sixty-six?
Country Jesus, hillbilly blues,
that's where I learned my licks.
Oh, from coast to coast and line to line
in every county there,
I'm talkin' 'bout that outlaw X
is cuttin' through the air.
Anywhere, y'all,
everywhere, y'all,
I heard it, I heard it,
I heard it on the X.
We can all thank Doctor "B"
who stepped across the line.
With lots of watts he took control,
the first one of its kind.
So listen to your radio
most each and every night
'cause if you don't I'm sure you won't
get to feeling right.
Anywhere, y'all,
everywhere, y'all,
I heard it, I heard it,
I heard it on the X."
