Ah - so somebody finally turned the metaphor into a reality. I'd be afraid to do too many 12-fret octave jumps on that thing - who knows what might happen. In the "afterglow", does it just turn into a travel guitar?

The "case" is probably made from very thin latex.

I just learned the guitar is for sale. The builder is asking $500 for it.
