This strange thing turned up on Ebay. Is it even meant to be a lap steel? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2384&item=2553691750
Cheers

Somebody tried to "improve" a cheap Japanese guitar from the 60's and failed. It could probably be used for firewood as easily as for a lap steel.
The seller is charging more for shipping than I would pay for the instrument.

C'mon guys. Be practical, it would make a unique (if not somewhat heavy) canoe paddle. Ole Keoki doesn't know anything about canoe paddles, he lives far from the sea, any sea!!!!!!
