Just saw Alicia Keys' performance on the MTV Video Music Awards. Incredibly soulful and sultry. She sings and plays and writes and on top of that I think she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen! Great performance with a very tight band featuring a superb drummer. I'm going to get the CD tomorrow.

I wasn't that impressed, although I did think that Missy Elliot was in fine form.
A pity they had to get all those other waanabees in on her tune though.

Alicia performed on the All Star telethon last night and was just incredible. Solo at the piano, just singin' and playin' from the heart. It was very moving.

Hey Jason, didn't you just love Christina Aguilerra's make up at the awards show?
